A bit windy, a bit rainy, and they say the crowd was a bit smaller.
But the excitement over some of our new parts and installing rims did a good job of fueling the fire for many entering the Jaybrake display area. That's right, I said installing rims. Jaybrake has teamed up with RC Components who like Jaybrake, manufacture their own products right here in the good old USA. A natural fit for each company, this initial team-up worked well for everyone including riders who wanted their rims installed immediately.
With installing rims, brakes, forward controls, defenders and Klock Werks wind shields, the lifts were full.

BIKETOBERFEST 2007 |

It’s always nice for us to leave the buffalo area and travel to Florida, and this time was no exception. The weather in our little town of Springville, just south of Buffalo, was almost as nice as Daytona’s if not better. Actually, I would have to say better because when we arrived it was about the same temperature but with extremely high humidity. That’s the best way to describe Biketoberfest ’07… very, very humid.
Although the amount of vendors seemed to be down a bit the crowd seemed to enjoy the events, products, Copa Girls, and jam packed Main street. All in all, it was a great time. Any opportunity to travel to warm weather and display our products is always a positive experience.
We’re definitely looking forward to going back to Florida in the spring for some warm weather, good eats at “Our Deck Down Under”, and what is sure to be our first rides of the season assuming the Buffalo winter will be a typical Buffalo winter.

The weather and crowds were both fair. A few rain showers blew throught the Black Hills and the parking lot seemed to have extra room at times, but overall the days were enjoyable.
Jaybrake introduced its newest product, the Defender™ RoadLok®. The reception was encouraging and customers recognized the need. We also donated two of the Defenders™ to Rupert's Kids Charity Ride. See our new products section for more details on the Defender™.

| RUBEN BROWN'S MOTORCYCLE RUN |

It was a beautiful Sunday morning and motorcycles were lining up to begin the 2007 Ruben Brown Motorcycle Run at Certo Brothers distributing in West Seneca New York. The run ended this year at the Seneca Niagara Casino in Niagara Falls, New York. This was the seventh year Ruben has had his charity run in Buffalo. Just about the time all the vendors were set up and the band finished sound checks, the rumble of bikes began to be heard. This event had a good turnout with plenty of fun and good music .... not to mention we were in the parking lot of a casino.
